April]] [[1914]] in die [[Stadt Köln]] [[Eingemeindung|eingemeindet]].<br /> <br /> Wichheim ist der älteste der vier Ortsteile und wurde erstmalig im Jahre [[1068]] als ''Domus Wicheri'' erwähnt. Die Herkunft kann auf einen ''Wicherus'' hindeuten, der dem Dorf seinen Namen gab. Oder ''wich'' bezieht sich auf die Übersetzung 'heilig''.
